Guest Post Guidelines
Successful guest contributions are comprehensive and interesting articles that teach our readers something new about the world of business, finance or international money transfers.
Our Core Criteria
- Unique Content: We will not republish anything that’s been published elsewhere. All submissions will be analyzed for uniqueness through Copyscape.
- Minimum Word Count of 1,500 Words: Longer content not only ranks better, but it also gets shared more. Win-win!
- Matching Voice & Tone: Your article must reflect the writing style/tone of our blog, which is professional, but not overly formal, and uses American English. Avoid buzzwords and inappropriate humor. Refer to the audience in second person and yourself in first person.
- Proper Attribution: Be sure to correctly source all data, quotations, images, and all other outside content referenced in your article.
- Author Name, Bio, and Headshot: The author’s bio should be short and the headshot should be a 1:1 square. Please also include the author’s website and/or social media profiles.
- Featured Image: This image should be 1040px wide and royalty-free. Additional images embedded throughout the article content are also appreciated.
SEO & Link Guidelines
- Dofollow Links: You can include up to two links to external webpages - these will be set as dofollow. Please mention which links should be set as dofollow when submitting your article.
- Reference/Authority Links: Include a minimum of two reference (authority) links - and as many as needed. These will be nofollow links.
- Transferly Links: You can include additional reference links to existing articles from our blog or from any other page on Transferly.com.
What We Won't Accept
- Articles with affiliate links. We allow a maximum of two dofollow links, but they cannot be affiliate links.
- Promotional content for your company. Our blog’s content should always be informative and valuable, so pure promotion will not be accepted.
- Content with typos or grammar issues. Please proofread your article before submitting; do not submit a rough draft. We will not be providing editing services.
- Exact topics already covered on our blog. Please look through our blog before submitting your article.
- Links or references to illegal products or services. This should be self-explanatory, but we thought it should be mentioned nonetheless.
- Offensive or inaccurate content. Refrain from using defamatory language, making offensive statements, or making claims that are unsubstantiated/false.
How to Submit Your Article
- Prepare your article as a Google Document. Do not submit a PDF, DOC, ZIP, HTML or any other filetype.
- Send us the share link to the article.
- Send image files with proper file names in a separate folder.
- If your article meets our guidelines above, and aligns with our content strategy, we will respond to let you know when your article will be published. That process may take several weeks, based on our current content calendar.
